Brian, a lovely brave young man who was liked by everyone, died suddenly after a long illness at Hairmyres Hospital, East Kilbride on the 8th of February 2010, aged 34 years old.

Memorial Bench Complete

The bench has finally been installed at Segganwell Cottages, Culzean Castle. The site can be accessed by visiting the Country Park. National Trust Scotland charge an admission fee of £9 for entry to the Country Park. However, if you arrive towards the end of the working day, the barriers are open and you can go in for free. Here are some picture of the bench.

First Anniversary

February 8th will be the first anniversary of Brian's death. Brian was a brave, brave young man and a beloved son, brother, grandson and good friend to many. Our thoughts are with him everyday and even more so on this sad day.

Remembrance Service

There will be a short remembrance service at Busby Parish Church, Church road, Busby on Sunday 5th December 2010 at 2.30pm. This is for anyone who has suffered a bereavement. There will be tea and coffee after and all are welcome to attend.

Special Bench at Culzean Castle

We have eventually received word from the National Trust for Scotland that the services of a local stone mason have been secured and work shall be under way very soon on the bench that will be situated at Seganwell Cottages

Brian's family would like to thank everyone for all their help and kind support during the 3 years of his illness

The family would also like to thank eveyone for their kind donations given at the retiral offering after the service. This raised a total of £560 and has been divided evenly between the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice, Glasgow and the Kilbryde Hospice, East Kilbride.
